After a very successful debut, Flathead Audio has been busy finalizing a number of upcoming releases. The most interesting to me is the Delta — a dual-driver flathead produced in collaboration with BGVP. Delta is expected to be released within the next three months – after the CIELO (bullet-type IEMs) and TORUS (full-sized over-ear headphones)

What makes it unique is its combination of a 12 mm planar driver and a 14.8 mm dynamic driver, which has never been done before. The earbuds will come bundled with a color-matched MMCX modular cable.

Delta will be limited to 500 units. However, according to Flathead Audio, they “may tinker with the crossover depending on whether people prefer more or less planar presence” for the second batch.
