LREY has just announced their first model for 2026 – the Meiro, featuring housing that uses a labyrinth structure. According to LREY, the same design is found in high-end speakers, but bringing it into an earbud form was a challenge and it did not disappoint. Here’s how LREY describe the result:
The sound produced is simply on another level compared to our previous builds.
From the first listen, the bass immediately stands out. Fuller, cleaner, and with noticeably more vibration than ever before. It’s powerful and deep, yet never overwhelms the other frequencies.
The soundstage and imaging are outstanding, delivering a wide and immersive, 3D presentation.
Vocals are focused and up front, giving an in-your-face feel, while instrument separation remains wide and precise. The overall sound is big and engaging, with detailed mids and clear, extended highs.
