Valphonics has introduced its newest flathead earbud, the Pocketier. The new model takes a different approach to tuning compared with the maker’s previous releases of Lander 20Hz and Mascara Pure, focusing on a balanced and neutral presentation with reduced overall thickness.

According to Valphonics, one of the main elements behind the Pocketier’s sound is its tube-like acoustic network, which is designed to improve low-frequency extension while also contributing to a more expansive soundstage. Rather than relying on a pronounced bass boost or a coloured tuning, the Pocketier is intended to offer a cleaner and more balanced presentation.
