Chinese flathead earbud maker Yinman has revealed its upcoming flagship, the DR10, introducing a combination of a full beryllium diaphragm, a rosewood acoustic chamber, and two impedance options. The first details appeared in a thread on the Chinese audio forum Erji.net on October 21, 2026, with the manufacturer answering questions from interested enthusiasts over the following days.

The DR10’s Chinese name, Lujue (鹿爵), refers to a mythical creature described in the Classic of Mountains and Seas. According to the manufacturer’s explanation, it resembles a white horse, with a white head, red tail, and tiger-like markings. Its voice is said to resemble someone singing, making the name an evocative reference for an audio product.

Beryllium, Rosewood and MMCX

Wooden housings have long been a defining feature of Yinman’s flathead earbuds. Earlier this year, however, the brand introduced the budget-oriented DG01, which stood out from its traditional designs by using a metal housing.

The upcoming DR10 returns to a rosewood acoustic chamber, combining this familiar natural material with a full beryllium diaphragm. Rather than representing a new direction for Yinman, the DR10 continues the brand’s established approach to earbud construction, bringing wood back to the forefront in its upcoming flagship.

According to the manufacturer’s replies on Erji.net, the DR10 will be available in two impedance versions: 32 Ω and 300 Ω. Both share the same stated diaphragm and housing materials.

Yinman has also offered an early indication of their tuning differences. According to the maker, the 32 Ω version has less midrange body than the 300 Ω version. This distinction may be particularly relevant to listeners choosing between the two variants, although their actual tonal balance and technical performance remain to be confirmed through independent listening. The 300 Ω version may require more careful source matching than the 32 Ω model. However, without published sensitivity figures, it is too early to determine how much amplification either version will need.

The DR10 will feature MMCX detachable cable connectors for the first time, as confirmed by the manufacturer in the forum discussion.

The wooden aesthetic extends to the cable, which features matching rosewood accents that complement the earbuds’ housings. Personally, I think the cable looks perfect, and I wouldn’t change a thing.

The first photos also reveal a relatively long stem, which has prompted questions from prospective buyers. Yinman explained that the stem incorporates an internal acoustic chamber, meaning it serves a functional purpose rather than being purely decorative.

Release Date and Pricing

As of October 24, 2026, Yinman has not announced an official release date or price for the DR10. Further details, including sensitivity, frequency response, and other driver specifications, have also yet to be published.

The DR10 is shaping up to be an interesting addition to Yinman’s lineup. Its combination of a full beryllium diaphragm, rosewood construction, MMCX connectivity, and a choice between 32 Ω and 300 Ω versions will likely attract attention from enthusiasts following the high-end flathead earbud market.

For now, the main questions concern its tuning, driving requirements, and price. Those details will help determine how the DR10 compares with Yinman’s previous offerings and competing flagship flathead earbuds.
