Chinese audio brand Yincrow unveiled its new “Pi” model at the Chengdu International Headphones Expo 2026, held on April 18–19 in Chengdu, China. The event is one of the largest headphone exhibitions in China, bringing together manufacturers to showcase their latest Hi-Fi products and prototypes.
So far, not much info on “Pi” – it’s a budget earbud model, reportedly around ~200 yuan (~$25–30), utilising a 14.8mm dynamic driver. Notably, this is Yincrow’s first new budget release in quite some time and the “Pi” name suggests a new series might have been born.
Based on some early impressions floating in Chinese forums, “Pi” has a brighter tuning. The design looks more premium than typical $30 earbuds, kind of resembling their latest flagman RW-6000.
UPDATE as of 23.04.2026: Yincrow Pi is now available on Taobao, therefore, we have much more info on the design and specs:
Self-developed driver utilizes:
- High-performance N55 magnet
- Imported ultra-fine voice coil (copper-clad aluminum)
- A new-generation composite diaphragm
- 40Ω impedance.
Yincrow also highlights the use of an internal acoustic circulation system and structural refinements inspired by previous product development experience. The goal is improved airflow control and more coherent sound output. As a result, the Pi features a completely redesigned acoustic chamber, reportedly developed over two years. The structure uses:
- Aviation-grade aluminum alloy
- Multi-cavity internal design (front, mid, and rear chambers)
- CNC precision machining and anodized finish
The shells are made from medical-grade lightweight aluminum alloy, with a compact size of just 15.8 mm diameter. The design follows an ergonomic shape intended to sit naturally in the ear. Yincrow emphasizes a “barely-there” wearing experience aimed at extended listening sessions.
